| The IS-T100BD intercom security speaker station is a security station with beacon driver and delay circuitry designed to operate with the TOA IC-100 intercom systems. The beacon-driver and delay circuitry can drive flashing strobe lights and sonic alarms or activate relays with a adjustable delay allowing the device to remain activated for 1 to 10 minutes for additional security. The two gang intercom station survives damage from mistreatment, shock and atmospheric extremes. It includes a 25 Volt, jumper-selectable wattage tap (1/2 or 1 Watt), call circuitry and a 12 or 24 Volt jumper selectable beacon driver on a 12 gauge brushed stainless steel faceplate with an attached cone speaker. The large, red call switch is a momentary action mushroom push-button designed for ADA support. The 8 ohm speaker is water and fungus resistant and also functions as a microphone to provide remote station talkback, when included in a centrally located master control system. |

The
indoor security intercom sub-station shall be a Communications Co. Inc.
model IS-T100BD, or approved equal. The station shall be comprised of
an 8 ohm water and fungus resistant mylar cone speaker, mounted on a
12 GA. stainless steel plate. The speaker driver shall function as a
microphone with a minimum sensitivity of -26 dBm. The sub-station equipped
with a call switch and beacon driver and adjustable delay circuit board
shall include a weather resistant, large mushroom button, momentary
push-button switch that operates with the TOA IC-100 system. The beacon
driver circuit board shall include a relay that can operate either with
12 or 24 Volts dc and have a Form-C contact rating of 2.5 A @ 24Vdc.
The station shall have a power rating of (1) Watt with a frequency response
of 400- 4k Hz. The station shall include a 25 Volt transformer with
1/2 & 1 Watt taps and call circuitry to allow operation with the
TOA IC-100 intercom system. The sub-station shall mount with #6-32 flathead,
tamper-resistant screws (not included).
